A matter of days later during our 'chemistry meeting' I got to cradle my baby for the first time, I got to inhale my babies' smell and as my baby slept soundly on my chest for a short while I secretly knew that I had finally found ‘the one’.
So to the children who told my son because he is adopted 'he wasn't wanted' you couldn't be further from the truth and I'm going to tell your parents and others why.
Well it’s official, I survived the summer holidays....whoop whoop! I feel like I should be issued with a t-shirt to mark my achievement.
Note to self (as I send yet another belated birthday card)….. ‘be more organised next year as winging it and the lastminute.com approach doesn’t seem to be cutting it these days’.
As I stood wanting the playground to swallow me and my son up; she looked me square in the eye as if my child were a mass murderer and finally added ‘and I caught him jumping on snails!’.
